Transformation

Our vision is to restore the glory of God to the church and fill the world with the knowledge of Him. In this episode we take a look at how we would do this and why?

Restoring God's glory to our lives can seem a bit abstract, but this teaching helps us to understand what to focus our time and attention on.

What is the motive to restoring God’s glory to our lives: to glorify God

Is 43:7 Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory;

Is 61:3 That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

We will never be satisfied unless we bring Him glory. We were created to display forth His splendour, the beauty of His majesty, the glory of His grace, mercy and forgiveness.

How do we go about this restoration process

·         Transformed after being with

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Romans 12:2 do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind

The word for transformed is metamorphóō – properly, transformed after being with.

We have all been transformed after being with Jesus but this is to be an ongoing experience as we continue to walk with Him through life together.

Whoever is informing you is forming you.
