Our Vision
Heartbreak, pain, sin, the world and the devil; they don’t discriminate, and we have all been affected by these in some way. We have all experienced painful moments in our lives, some through what we have done to others, but also by what people have done to us.
God loved the world so much that He sent Jesus to take our place and to take our punishment. Jesus came to free us, heal us and restore us from the pain of our past and the impact and effects of sin, the world and the devil. Jesus rose again from the grave and went back to heaven. He sent His Spirit to the earth to establish His church in power, the good news of the gospel of grace and the finished work of the cross.
The early church was founded on the revelation of who Jesus is, it was founded on the Spirit, and in power and authority. Today, God is re-establishing His church on these very same pillars. Our Mission
See Him, Be Him, Show Him
In some sense, the whole world is raging over one question: who is Jesus? The answers we seek today can only be found in answering this question.
Jesus is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, but so many people are attending churches today where they don’t truly meet with God. Jesus, the Shepherd, our Saviour, has been hidden from them through religion and our own self-righteousness.
We were created for His glory and for the display of His splendour, but we have changed the glory of God into our own man-made religion, our man-made coverings for sin. Instead of accepting the full work of the cross we veil His glory with our own manmade image of God.
The heartbeat of Restoration Church is to connect families, the marginalised, the poor and the broken to the true restorative power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
To do this we need to turn away from our man-made religion, our self-effort, whatever form legalism takes, so we can see the real Jesus and be transformed into His same image, from one degree of glory to another.
